About the Awareness Intensive Training
The three day Awareness Intensive Retreats, also known as Who is in?, create a very particular space
and provide an impactful setup for everyone to dive deeply into their own truth, which is full joy,
creativity, freedom, connection and presence. Traditional Zen techniques are combined
with modern communication practices, to get the best of both worlds. It is free of any confessional bias.
This training is designed to deepen the understanding of this very unique and particular approach of self-inquiry.
What are we learning and deepening in the training?
- Going deeper into self-inquiry:
learning the essential points of self-inquiry, understanding the work with „who“ Koans - Dealing with group work dynamics
- Giving and receiving one-on-one sessions from a space of compassion and understanding and how
to create a space for a client that is respectful of their process and based on awareness, instead of
solving problems - How to deal with the organisation and logistics of a meditation retreat
- How to use different techniques in client approach
- How to create a facilitator's team and deal with it
- How to work with challenging participants
For Whom Is This Training?
For all who love the process and want to deepen their understanding of Who is in? and have previously participated in an Awareness Intensive Retreat (also known as „Satori“, "Who is in?“) and want to…
… learn how to facilitate it.
… support their own work with people in fields of therapy or self-reflective practice.
… deepen their practice of self-inquiry.
What happens in the training modules?
- Module 1 - Foundations
In this first part of the training we will cover the foundations of an Awareness Intensive Retreat, including the structure, set up, organization and presentation of an Awareness Intensive Retreat.
You will learn how to present the technique, how to organize logistics and set up requirements.
In order to put everything directly into practice, a Who is in?-Retreat will be happening within this training module.
- Module 2 - Working with Individuals
This second module is about interaction with participants. Working with individuals in a Who is in?- Retreat requires a particular understanding of the role, tasks and responsibilities as a facilitator.
Based on that, we will look at how to relate and interact with participants. How the technique can be used in the participant’s process without guiding or playing therapist.
It’s all about welcoming and being aware of what is there in each given moment, not to achieve something or to reach somewhere.
In this Module you learn to listen, to respect the uniqueness of another, to rest inside of yourself in the presence of another, to answer questions in a non directive way.
- Module 3 - Deepening and Integration
Deepening the understanding of the previous modules and developing the ability to work as a facilitator team, guiding the process, and dealing with special situations and emergencies.
Learning to the keep balance between taking initiative in making suggestions or flowing along.
Again, in order to put everything directly into practice, another Who is in?-Retreat will be happening within this training module.
